The Control4® 8-Channel 0-10V Dimmer controls up to eight (8) 0-10V dimmable fluorescent ballasts or LEDs. Each channel can control up to 50 ballasts. Individual 0-10V lights can be programmatically tied to a corresponding channel on a Control4® 8-Channel Relay module for on/off control of the ballast or LED when needed. Alternatively, the Control4 8-Channel 0-10V Dimmer module also has eight (8) low-voltage outputs for triggering external power relays.
The version 3 update to the Control4 DIN-Rail 8-Channel 0-10V Dimmer module includes a hardware upgrade that enables support for Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.2) to secure communication on the IP network between lighting modules and the Control4 controller. This update brings the module up to date with advancing communication security standards and provides the same level of security currently available in the other Control4 Centralized Lighting modules (C4-DIN-8APD-E, C4-DIN-8FPD-E, C4-DIN-8RELSW, C4-DIN-BEG-V2). The new V3 module requires Control4 OS 3.4.2 or later.
